THE TOP TEN RULES OF BUYING HOOD LOUVERS

1. They are a permanent addition to your vehicle, so be sure you are getting the best quality available. Cheap looks it — and gets old in a hurry!

2. Get enough Heat Evacuation. You will under-do it if you get those weanie little plastic things our erstwhile competitors offer. Sure, they’re cheap, but they’re small, too. The Hood Louver Rule: They’re ain’t no substitute for square inches. Welcome to the MENS’ DEPT.! Our Hood Louvers are BIGGER than anyone elses and with the longest louvered openings!

3. Your engine gets hot, so your hood gets hot. Be sure your Hood Louvers are made of Aluminum or some other light metal. Ever seen anything made of plastic last long in a really hot environment? Plastic breaks down. Airplanes are made of aluminum, for good reasons – it’s strong and light — and it lasts! (Want to fly in a plastic airplane? We don’t!)

4. Patronize American companies and buy American-made goods. That applies to Hood Louvers, too! If it’s cheap, it’s made cheaply – and it’s probably made in China! Ours are 100% U.S.A.!

5. If you like the manly look of rivets, look at Hood Louvers that rivet on (our pop rivets are easy). Find a company where you can even select from 3 different colors of pop rivets. And look for a company that also offers the option of a rivet-less look, if that’s what you’re after.

6. Order from a company that gives you personal service. If you call them and a recording tells you “Press 1 for English”, hang up. Or, if the recording rambles on with a long list of departments to choose from — hang up. Get the personal touch, instead! When you call us, your call will be answered by a smart, friendly, knowledgeable American who speaks English and who knows all aspects of our Hood Louvers! (Or, if we are closed or on another line with another customer, you will get an answering machine. Leave your number, and we will call you back, on our dime!).
