Ram Air is pushed in through the front grill. But, with no way to exit, and with so many components jam-packed under the hood, the air just gets packed in, only to get hotter and hotter.
When you install RunCool Hood Louvers, you provide exit openings so the ram air can push the bottled up hot air up, through and out! Then, more cool air can come in! And, this cool air passes through the intercooler, the A/C evaporator and the radiator – thus cooling down the units,  the cooling system, the turbo itself and the A/C system. Cool down one area, and you cool down yet another!
